Teaching

As a violist with a unique, if somewhat unusual pathway, which took me into improvised and jazz music, leading my own ensembles, and composing and arranging for them - a primary focus of my teaching is to find what truly inspires the student and devise a journey together.

 

I have been teaching privately since 2012, as well as at Enfield and Camden Music Service since 2015. I have also have led workshops at Enfield, as well as Tomorrow’s Warriors, and MiSST (The Music in Secondary Schools Trust) funded programme. Whilst I am currently involved in more jazz contexts, I have had a classical training and have extensive experience in teaching ABRSM exams.

 

I teach from my house in Turnpike Lane or over Zoom, all ages welcome!
